How do you fix snapped silly bandz?

I have a couple silly bandz that snapped that I wanted to fix and i tried using glue but it doesn't stick. I also heard that you could put them into The microwave but it seems like that would either melt completely or give off toxic fumes.anyone with experience or ideas please help!!!!
try putting a match under the broken spot while holding it together and it may melt back together
I don’t think you can. you can try to tie the two broken ends together but I would suggest buying new ones.
On the back of my silly bandz packet it said that they can withstand a really high amount of degrees I forget what but i think it was in the 200F or 300F so putting it in the microwave should be fine. Have you tried a hot glue gun?
